Land Derived Sentiments: Poems and Responses

Zeitgeist is pleased to present Land Derived Sentiments: Poems and Responses. Featuring eleven artists working in various mediums, the exhibition is organized by gallery artist Patrick DeGuira and reflects his interest in the exploratory, oftentimes poetic nature of the curatorial process. The show’s title and works included are visual responses to DeGuira’s first book of poems and observational writings; which aims to foster ideas and metaphors pertaining to natural phenomena, states of renewal and nature-human struggles.

The exhibition is organized by Patrick DeGuira and runs from March 2 - April 27 , 2019. Please join us for an opening reception on March 2nd from 6-8pm at Zeitgeist in Nashville.

Join us Sunday, April 7 at 4:30pm at The Bookshop in east Nashville for a poetry reading from Patrick DeGuira, Jana Harper and Nathan Spoon in conjunction with the show.
