Brady Haston/Behind the City
Zeitgeist is pleased to present new work from Brady Haston, a painting and printmaking professor at Watkins College of Art and an MTSU graduate who has come back to the area after several years teaching and working in Chicago. He continues to work on abstract compositions based on disintegrating urban environments with interesting architectural references. Figurative elements are usually boiled down into signs and symbols such as numbered athletic jerseys and graffiti. Brady has a very interesting sense of color that we see represented in the work of a lot of up and coming artists these days; locally and internationally.
